AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Heavy rains overnight have delayed the opening of the first day of the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
Festival organizers say the gates at Zilker Park will now open at 3pm, as opposed to their scheduled noon open.
The first acts will now hit the stages around 3:15 p.m., officials said, with some changes to the rest of the schedule throughout the afternoon.
Some portions of the Austin metro area saw more than 4 inches of rain overnight, which led to a number of low-water crossings being closed.
Heavy rains have cleared the metro area for the time being, and the rain chances are fading - though some scattered showers can't be ruled out later this afternoon.
