During their chat, Katy who is currently engaged to Orlando Bloom, discussed various aspects of her love life including whether she has "a type," which she cheekily responded to with, "I'm no longer attracted to narcissists,” as well as sharing what her relationship red flags are.
While she didn’t call out any ex in particular, for context Katy has previously dated John Mayer, was married to Russell Brand, and has been linked to Diplo, and Jared Leto. So do with that information what you will.
Katy continued, "Anyone that is constantly changing the goalpost or pulling the rug out from you emotionally — Not it. Anyone that says that they know you better than you know yourself. Someone that just won't help.”
"It's like if I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you've done it all, and you've done all the dishes, and you've closed all the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your d*** s***ed," she unabashedly added.
"I mean, like literally. That is my love language,” she continued. “I don't need a red Ferrari. I can buy a red Ferrari. Just do the f***ing dishes. I will s*** your d***! It’s that easy!”
Katy never mentioned Bloom by name in the exchange, despite Cooper’s best efforts with a fan question about the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s “magic stick.” Which Katy cleverly deflected saying, “We’ve been together for a while, so I guess he’s got the magic in him.”
After making their relationship IG official in May 2016, Perry and Bloom called it quits less than a year later in February 2017. The split however didn’t last long, with the two rekindling their romance and making their red carpet debut at the Gala for the Global Ocean at the Opera of Monte-Carlo in Monaco in September 2018.
The couple has been going strong ever since, getting engaged in February 2019, and welcoming their first child together, daughter Daisy, in August 2020.
