Everything you need to know about the 2021 American Music Awards

The 2021 American Music Awards will air this Sunday, November 21 beginning at 8 PM ET on ABC. Taking place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, the AMAs represent the world’s largest fan-voted award show.

Cardi B! The five-time American Music Award winner has been tapped as host for the evening, which means that you absolutely will want to tune in to see an award show for the ages.

A diverse group of artists are scheduled to perform at the AMAs this year including BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, Megan Thee Stallion, Bad Bunny, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, New Edition, New Kids on the Block, Walker Hayes, Måneskin, Mickey Guyton, Tyler, The Creator, and Diplo.

Olivia Rodrigo leads the way with a whopping seven nominations at the AMAs. The Weeknd follows up with six nominations of his own, while Bad Bunny, Doja Cat, and Giveon each have five nominations apiece.
