Fort Bend ISD Superindendent, Charles Dupre, made the annoucement last night via a Twitter video that senior graduations will be posted poned until July. Initially all graduations were scheduled for May, but to avoid any virutual graduations because let's be honest there's nothing like walking across that stage to get your diploma it will be pushed back until the summer.
Currently in the district is looking into July dates for Smart Financial Center and will follow up with more details in the coming weeks. The superindendent did add that all seniors were scheduled to walk on May would be considered at "graduates" for college transcript purposes that needed to be sent to college, graduations and military enlistments.
