
Governor Greg Abbott annouced last Friday that Texas will slowly start reopening this week and starting today State Parks are expected to open while still following social distance guidelines and while wearing face masks. Families that plan to visit State Parks should be limited to groups of five and should maintain a six feet distance with others.
Statring on Wednesday, April 22 surgery restrictions will be lifted. Starting on Friday, April 24 all retailers will be allowed to reopen and operate "To-Go" or via curbside only. No customers are to be allowed inside.
On Monday, April 27 the Governor will annouce what other openings are coming.
On Thursday, April 30 the State wide stay-at-home order expires.
All Texas schools however are to remain closed for the rest of the 2019- 2020 school year with continued online classes for all students.
