Following many other districts in the state and across the country, the Houston Independent School District announced the extension of closures through April 10th, 2020.
Joining HSID is Alvin and Fort Bend ISDs with more districts expected to follow of extent past the April date.
HSID will re-evaluate the status of the coronavirus pandemic on April 6th to determine if extending the closure is necessary.
HISD will continue to closely monitor the situation during the closure and provide operational updates as necessary.
Students, parents, and staff are urged to remain vigilant in their efforts to stay healthy.
