Listen to play Who's Lyin'?

For the "Who's Lyin'?" contest, listen to Mix 96.5 from January 5, 2026 – December 31, 2026 between 6:45 AM CT and 7:15 AM CT each weekday for the cue to call. Upon hearing the cue to call, be the first caller to get through the contest line (713)-881-5965. The first caller to get through to the contest line will have the opportunity to play "Who's Lyin'?" at a future date. When the contestant eventually plays "Who's Lyin'?" They will listen to each member of The Dana Cortez Show tell a story about themselves. The contestant will then try to determine which member of The Dana Cortez Show is not telling a true story. If the contestant guesses who is lying correctly, they will be determined the winner. Upon verification, the winner will receive: either a t-shirt, hoodie or crew neck from Mix 96.5. The value of each prize is approximately $75.00. Please note "Who's Lyin?" may not be played due to federal or company holidays or if the on air talent is unable to conduct the contest on a given day. Winners must pick up the prize at 24 Greenway Plaza, Suite 1900, Houston TX 77046 during office hours. Prizes will be available for pick up approximately two (2) weeks after the station receives all required paperwork back from the winner. Number of listeners winning a prize depends on the number of listeners correctly determining which member of The Dana Cortez Show is lying during the "Who's Lyin'?" game each week. There will be up to five (5) possible winners per week. Winners will need to provide a valid email address, mailing address, and may be taxed on the prize.
