Spam takes a lot of heat for being super-processed, but the USDA just issued a warning . . . because a batch in Texas was UNDER-processed, which can lead to contamination. The cans were sold at H.E.B. stores. The potentially bad products have a best-by date of August 2026 . . . and a "lot code" of A08173. It also has "EST. 199" printed on the inside of the USDA mark of inspection.
