(SportsRadio 610) -- The Texans used their final pick in this year's draft to select defensive tackle Roy Lopez, a graduate transfer from Arizona.

Lopez (6-2, 318 pounds) spent four seasons at New Mexico State before transferring to the Wildcats last season.

For Arizona, Lopez recorded 18 tackles, four tackles for loss and a sack over five games.

He is one of two defensive players selected by the Texans, who picked offensive players in their first three selections.

Texans general manager Nick Caserio notes Lopez is a former high school wrestler, which has helped with how he uses his hands on the defensive line.

"Good football makeup. Tough. Real smart guy," Caserio said on Texans Draft Live. "We'll put him in the mix with our group. Roy embodies a lot of the qualities that we've discussed at length over the last weeks and months."

Earlier in the draft, the Texans picked former TCU linebacker Garret Wallow in the fifth round. They also picked former Miami tight end Brevin Jordan earlier in the fifth round.

On Friday, the Texans selected former Stanford quarterback Davis Mills with the 67th overall pick, then later traded up in the third round to pick former Michigan wide receiver Nico Collins at No. 89 overall.
