Nearly fourteen years after they released the original, Aly & AJ are dropping an explicit version of their epic 2007 mega bop "Potential Breakup Song.”

Making the announcement, the sister music duo posted a teaser of the updated version of their hit song on their shared Instagram page, alongside a simple yet informative message, “12.29.20.”

Giving the song a slightly different grown up vibe, the sister duo seem right on track with their plan of ending 2020 on "a high note,” which they added in the posts comments section.

With one week to wait until we get to hear the NSFW version of their biggest hit, we at least have “Slow Dancing,” Aly and AJ’s latest single to hold us over. The song, which they debuted just last week along with the music video, was directed by Aly’s husband Stephen Ringer and stars AJ‘s boyfriend, Good Trouble star Josh Pence. Check it out below.
