As we kept up with their down time love story over the course of last year’s lockdown, we’ve grown to love them together, almost as much as they love each other.
Clearly smitten with his GRAMMY-winning, butterfly obsessed boo, Anwar celebrated Dua’s Recording Academy successes with festivities themed after her fluttering metamorphic faves.
Lipa, who was nominated for six GRAMMYs this year, including Album of the Year for Future Nostalgia and Song of the Year for “Don’t Start Now,” ended up walking away with one for Best Pop Vocal Album, hence the celebration.
On Tuesday, Dua posted photos of the post-GRAMMYS party full of sparkling lights, balloons, and friends. Hadid even hung up a butterfly piñata to playfully honor her big night. Sporting another fitted butterfly dress, Dua thanked her “angel boy” Anwar for having “all the 🦋🦋🦋 in da world waiting 4 me.”
Additionally in the series of pics, Hadid, the 21-year-old brother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid, getting the party set with a cluster of balloons that spell out Dua. And another of Lipa cuddled up to her love.
Following the night's win, the “Levitating” singer took to Instagram to share her gratitude and excitement, the “Best Pop Vocal Album for Future Nostalgia !!!!! A wonderful night, thank you @recordingacademy thank you @donatell_versace and the unmatched @versace team for my one of a kind dream dress and all my dream outfits throughout the night! So lucky for your love and support!!”
