Even Helen Mirren can get starstruck.

Speaking at The Wrap’s 2023 Awards Season Screening Series, Mirren discussed filming a scene with Harrison Ford on the “Yellowstone” offshoot “1923”. This particular one called for the two to appear in bed together.

“I had to be in the bed with him, you know. I’m dressed up to here,” the Oscar winner said. “But I’m lying there and I’m thinking, ‘I’m in bed with Harrison Ford.’ I was so excited, I can’t tell you. I had to pretend to be cool. Don’t tell him. Promise me.”

Mirren and Ford first worked together on the 1986 drama “The Mosquito Coast”.

“He’s amazing. He really is,” the actress said. “The stature he’s held, as a major, humongous movie star, all that time, at the same time as somebody who doesn’t love the limelight. He has this interior quality to him.”

Mirren then continued praising her costar, “He’s come to a place where he can be easy with other actors. It’s immensely generous and incredibly professional. Not remotely spoiled movie star, at all. I genuinely love him. If I wasn’t married…”

“1923” is a spinoff of “Yellowstone” and finds The Dutton family facing “a new set of challenges in the early 20th century, including the rise of Western expansion, Prohibition and the Great Depression,” according to IMDB. The show can be streamed via Paramount+.
