(SportsRadio 610) - NFL free agency is underway for the 2022 season with legal tampering beginning Monday, March 14 at 11 a.m.
The league year officially begins on Wednesday, March 16 at 3 p.m., which is also a key date for Texans fans to monitor for a long anticipated Deshaun Watson trade.

Most of the Texans' deals reported so far include free agents who were on the team last season.
Last week, Houston struck deals with veteran linebacker Christian Kirksey, backup quarterback Jeff Driskel and wide receiver Chris Conley. Linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis' contract was restructured, and the Texans are also bringing back wide receiver Chris Moore. Safety Terrance Brooks and Antony Auclair struck deals with the Texans on Monday.
Houston's first move to improve the offensive line is signing veteran Cedric Ogbuehi to a one-year deal, which was reported by NFL Media's Ian Rapoport last Friday. Ogbuehi only played three games last season for Seattle and Baltimore, but was with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019. It was there he worked with Texans current offensive line coach George Warhop, who held the same position in Jacksonville.

The Texans also resigned wide receiver Davion Davis and offensive linemen Carson Green and Jimmy Morrisey.
Pro Football Network's Aaron Wilson reports the Texans are also working on deals to retain defensive tackle Maliek Collins and cornerback Desmond King.
