"It’s amazing. It’s a very grounding thing," he expressed. "I didn’t learn how to swim until Blue was born. There goes everything you need to know. This is a metaphor for our relationship. If she ever fell in the water and I couldn’t get her, I couldn’t even fathom that thought. I gotta learn how to swim. And you know, that’s it. That was the beginning of our relationship," he revealed.

He revealed how quickly his children humble him. When he received his announcement regarding the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, he was taking Blue to school. She was unfazed by the moment. "I was like 'this ain't no celebration.' She walked away; I was like 'yo!' She was like 'bye Dad.'" Sheesh! Just imagine when she becomes a teenager.

Jay-Z is a father of three— Blue Ivy, 9 and twins, Rumi and Sir who will be turning 4 later this month. Check his full episode of The Shop: Uninterrupted, on HBO and HBO Max.
