Jennifer Garner’s heading back to TV.
Garner stars in the official trailer for upcoming Apple TV+ series “The Last Thing He Told Me” where she searches for answers about the missing husband she thought she knew.
The series is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Laura Dave.
The show follows “Hannah (Jennifer Garner), a woman who must forge a relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice) in order to find out the truth about why her husband has mysteriously disappeared,” reads the Apple series synopsis.
Garner has said she’s a big fan of the show’s source material, even telling Vanity Fair she “devoured” the book. She also said she read it aloud to her kids.
Along with Garner and Rice the cast also includes Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aisha Tyler, Augusto Guilera, Geoff Stults, and John Harlan Kim.
“The Last Thing He Told Me” premieres on Apple TV+ April 14.
