For the occasion the So So Def head honcho Jermaine Dupri took center stage to be given his flowers for his contributions to the culture, genre, and just the ATL in general.

During his tribute, Jermaine brought Ludacris, Nelly, Lil Jon, Da Brat, Bow Wow, Bone Crusher, Tyrese, Dem Franchize Boyz, and Chingy to join him up on stage for an epic performance, which started off with Kris Kross’ 1992 chart topping single “Jump.”

Following “Jump,” Dupri continued to serve up hits, with performances of “Welcome to Atlanta” with Ludacris and “Grillz” alongside Nelly. Then Bone Crusher stormed out for a stage-shattering rendition of “Never Scared,” and then Lil Jon joined to perform “Damn!” and “Snap Yo Fingers.”

JD also served up some of his own material as an artist with “Money Ain’t A Thang,” sans JAY-Z, then slowed things down with Chingy and Tyrese for their Jermaine Durpi produced, SWV-sampling hit, “Pullin’ Me Back.”

To close things out, Dupri brought out some So So Def alum including Dem Franchize Boyz, Bow Wow, and Da Brat to serve up “I Think They Like Me,” to the delighted Atlanta crowd.

The evening also included performances from City GirlsSexyy Redd, and GloRilla, a tribute to I Am Hip Hop Award recipient Marley Marl, and a DJ Drama retrospective.
