Martha Stewart reportedly did some fine cooking during her time behind bars.

A new CNN documentary, “The Many Lives of Martha Stewart,” interviewed a number of Stewart’s fellow inmates while she was in prison and they claim she was able to get her hands on certain ingredients, according to InStyle.

In 2004, Stewart spent five months in federal prison after being found guilty on conspiracy and obstruction of justice charges.

Meg Phipps was incarcerated with Stewart at Anderson Federal Prison Camp in West Virginia and was once sent a note from the lifestyle guru that came with a dessert.

“She also sent that note with a baked apple, which meant she had already tackled the idea of cooking in your dorm or cottage by using the microwave and what resources that you could find — because the baked apple had caramel on it and probably some cinnamon,” she said.

“I suspect some of this may have come from the cafeteria, which we’re not supposed to do,” she added.

Another one of Stewart’s fellow inmates, Susan Spry, said this would have been the only way for her to cook the things she was.

“Everyone smuggles food out of kitchen. I mean what else are you going to make? Unless it’s smuggled food,” she said.

Phipps said there was a potluck on Stewart’s last day of incarceration, with everyone bringing a dish. Stewart made a caramel flan.

“I don’t know how she made it,” Phipps said.

The final episode of “The Many Lives of Martha Stewart” airs Feb. 4 on CNN.
