(SportsRadio 610) -- Suffice it to say Randall Cobb is glad not to be at Texans training camp.

The 4-12 season was rough on Cobb, who spent just one year with the Texans after signing a three-year, $27 million deal in 2020. The Texans on Wednesday traded Cobb back to the Green Bay Packers, where Cobb was one of Aaron Rodgers' most reliable receivers for about eight years.

Cobb played in 10 games, starting in just two of them (the fewest starts since his rookie season) and was targeted just 48 times, the fewest since 2013.

The value of the contract never quite seemed to match the production when Cobb was in Houston. Cobb finished the season on injured reserve with a toe injury.

But now that he's gone, Cobb's getting some fresh air.

"I can breathe again," Cobb said when speaking with reporters Thursday at Packers training camp. "I've seen the other side."

Cobb's Packers teammates said he looked like he'd just been released from prison, but the veteran clarified a rather obvious distinction between the Packers and Texans with this comparison.

"Green Bay is like a Fortune 500 company and the Texans are a new franchise. They're a startup that's figuring out their way," Cobb added. "I think that the moves that they made when they brought (general manager Nick) Caserio in and (head coach David) Culley, I think they're on the path.

"I think they have a plan in place. I saw a lot of things changing over the past four months that I was there. I've been rehabbing the entire offseason, so I saw all the different changes. I know that they're doing right and trending in the right direction. They're still working through some things, but I'm very excited for them as well."
