Don't expect Country icon Reba McEntire to take any sides in the high-profile divorce of her former stepson, Brandon Blackstock, and superstar Kelly Clarkson.
From 1989 to 2015, Reba was married to Blackstock's father, Narvel, which for a short period of time, made her Kelly’s stepmom-in-law. Clarkson and Blackstock were wed in 2013, and filed for divorce in June 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage.
In a new interview with Extra, Reba remained diplomatic regarding the Clarkson/Blackstock split, explaining that she truly loves and wishes them both happiness.
"Brandon’s my stepson, Kelly’s my good friend," Reba admits. "I am pulling for both of them. I hope they’re happy and healthy and pull through this. I pray everyone gives them the encouragement they can because they need it right now, both of them do. I love the both of them with all my heart.”
