Rusty Hardin: All 22 Deshaun Watson accusers are lying about sexual misconduct allegations

(SportsRadio 610) -- In addition to Rusty Hardin filing an official answer to one of the 22 lawsuits against Deshaun Watson, the attorney issued a statement Monday saying all of the women alleging sexual misconduct by Watson are lying.

The identities of all 22 plaintiffs became public last week following a pair of judges' orders for most of them to re-file with their names attached to the lawsuits.

Hardin says in the days since their identities were revealed, his team is "discovering an avalanche of false accusations."

In the statement, Hardin singles out the two women alleging forced sexual activity, Shenee Lawson and Marchelle Davis.

Hardin reiterates a previous claim that Lawson acknowledged to Watson's business manager Bryan Burney that their sexual encounter was consensual, but still demanded money. Hardin says Davis lied about being alone at the spa with Watson, claiming "she knew there was a security guard present at all times" when Watson was there.

The attorney also claims to have witnesses who say Davis "was happy and excited after she massaged Mr. Watson."

These same claims are echoed in Hardin's filing with the 113th Judicial District in Harris County on Monday.

In that case, which represents Watson's original accuser Ashley Solis, Hardin accuses seven plaintiffs of willing working or offering to work with Watson after their alleged claims; three plaintiffs of lying about the number of sessions they had with Watson; three plaintiffs of lying about their trauma; five who told others they wanted to get money out of Watson; and five who scrubbed or entirely deleted their social media accounts.

In a statement, the plaintiffs' attorney Tony Buzbee called Hardin's allegations "weak and vague."

"Watson can't deny he sought out an unusually high number of women for massages on Instagram," Buzbee's statement says. "He doesn't deny he insisted on being nude or nearly nude; he can't deny the massage sessions occurred; he can't deny he wanted more than a 'massage'; and he hasn't credibly denied that something bad happened during the session -- he instead claims that any sexual acts were consensual. Of course his definition of 'consent' doesn't comport with that of everyone else."
