HOUSTON (Sports Radio 610) - The Houston Texans reportedly agreed to terms with yet another pair of veterans on Monday afternoon, in former Patriots defensive back Terrence Brooks, and former Packers and Falcons offensive guard, Justin McCray.
ESPN's Adam Schefter was first to report the Brooks agreement, which is thought to be a 1-year deal in the neighborhood of $2 million.
Brooks, who spent the last two seasons with the Patriots under Bill Belichick, played in 29 games with two starts and finished his time in New England with 47 tackles and three passes defended.
Before his time in New England, Brooks spent two years with the Jets, preceeded by one year in Philadelphia, and two seasons in Baltimore with the Ravens.
McCray, who will now re-unite with his former offensive line coach in Green Bay, James Campen, will reportedly receive a two-year deal worth up to $4 million, with another $1.5 million in incentives.
McCray spent last season in Atlanta at the center position, where he played in 10 games, starting two of those games. Outside of his two years as a guard and a tackle Green Bay in 2017 and 2018, McCray spent time with the Browns in 2019, where he was a rotational guard.
