(SportsRadio 610) – The Texans took care of business Saturday night in their first preseason game against the Green Bay Packers, but like most teams, did not leave unscathed.
Wide receiver Anthony Miller left the game in the third quarter, favoring his right shoulder and was eventually carted from the sideline to the Texans’ locker room.
Head coach David Culley said after the game that Miller had “a slight dislocation” but the MRI will determine the severity of the injury. Culley said Miller’s previously had a similar injury.
The play happened on 3rdand 13 with just under seven minutes left in the third quarter.
Miller caught a screen pass from Jeff Driskel, but the blocking was not there and he did not have a ton of room with which to operate. Miller was tacked for a short gain and immediately left the game, not moving his shoulder.

Miller finished with two catches for 15 yards on three targets. The catch he missed was perhaps one of rookie quarterback Davis Mills’ more impressive throws on the night, rolling to his right and throwing it 45+ yards down field and on the move.
Also injured in this game was defensive end Jonathan Greenard, who suffered a sprained ankle.
Greenard, who had a strip sack on Packers backup quarterback Jordan Love at the end of the first half, will also have the MRI to determine the severity of his ankle sprain.
