(SportsRadio 610) -- The Texans released veteran offensive lineman Senio Kelemete and waived inside linebacker Peter Kalambayi on Tuesday.
Kelemete had been with the Texans since 2018, when he signed a three-year deal with the team. He started 14 games at left guard for the Texans that year, but spent most of 2019 on injured reserve.

After signing a one-year extension in 2020, he again took over the starting role when Max Scharping regressed in his second season. Kelemete suffered a concussion in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Kalambayi was a sixth-round pick by the Texans in 2018, and played mostly on special teams in his three seasons with the team.
