(SportsRadio 610) - The Texans have ruled out second-year tight Brevin Jordan (ankle) for Sunday's game at the Chicago Bears.
Jordan had not practiced all week while dealing with the ankle injury. He had just two catches for three yards in last Sunday's 16-9 loss at the Denver Broncos and just one catch for five yards in the Texans' season-opening tie against the Indianapolis Colts.

Also ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bears are rookie offensive lineman Austin Deculus (ankle) and veteran defensive back Isaac Yiadom (thigh).
Defensive linemen Maliek Collins (knee), Kurt Hinish (foot) and tight end Pharaoh Brown (shoulder) are all listed as questionable.
Missing Collins and Hinish would be a major blow to the Texans' interior defensive line depth. They would need players like Michael Dwumfour and rookie Thomas Booker to step up in their place.
With Jordan already ruled out, losing Brown would also be significant and would likely mean the Texans elevate Jordan Akins from the practice squad to pair with O.J. Howard.
The Bears also have a few noteworthy injuries.
Cornerback Jaylon Johnson (quad) and linebacker Roquan Smith (hip) are both listed as questionable. Tight end Ryan Griffin (Achilles), formerly of the Texans, has been ruled out for the game. Linebacker Matt Adams and defensive back Dane Cruikshank (both with hamstring injuries) have also been ruled out.
