A massive fire destroyed Dino Rasera’s apartment in last month and he lost everything, including his 1-year-old dog, Marble, who got away when Dino was evacuating the building.
In the chaos of the fire, Marble bolted and Dino couldn’t find her. He posted online, put up flyers around town and continued searching, with no luck. Weeks went by and eventually, someone just driving by spotted Marble in the window of Dino's burned-out third-floor apartment building and she was rescued by animal control officers and the Fire Department!
She’s back in the loving arms of Dino who says, “it was just amazing” to get her back. He’s grateful for the support they’re received, not only with Marble, but also by raising donations to help him buy food and clothing after the fire.
