Wicker & Wilde mentioned this recall a few days ago on the air but only yesterday did we get the low down on the stores, and boy it seems as if every one you can buy chicken at is affected.

The USDA is issuing a massive recall of ready to eat meat and poultry products from Oklahoma meat processing company BrucePac. The recall affects close to 10-million-pounds of product due to listeria concerns.
The food products are carried by stores including Walmart, Kroger, Trader Joe's, Publix, Aldi, Target, Amazon, and Wegmans. The USDA has a 326-page document of specific retailers, brands and food items containing the recalled meats. The products include salads with chicken and many ready to eat foods with the affected chicken in it.
These are just some of the brand names the meals were sold under:
- Fresh Express
- Rao's
- Boston Market
- Atkins
- Dole
- Amazon Kitchen
- Taylor Farms
- Kroger brand
- Home Chef
- Trader Joe's brand
- Wegman's brand
and
- Great Value (Walmart) brand
It's recommended you throw the products away if you have them in your fridge or freezer or return them to the place where you bought them. Also, retailers with the products in stock are supposed to throw them out so if you see them in the store do NOT buy anymore.
