Wicker and Wilde both agree that a dog would make the best mascot but one of our listeners suggested a historical figure, John Paul Jones who is the father of the U.S. Navy and Wicker loves the idea of the mascot coming out on a big ship! LOL
So the 4 themes to choose from are a dog, a historical figure, a hog or a superhero. And it's up to you to decide and vote on the theme. From there sketches will be drawn up and then there will be a few choices to narrow down a specific mascot. That will happen at the game on September 27th.
The team is also going to unveil a new fight song for the 2022 song.....we didn't know the old one - LOL
