Even with all the make-up and plastic surgery, no question about it Cardi B is real, or at least she keeps it so. It's no secret she loves her glam, but more than that she loves herself and is proudly showing off her barefaced complexion with absolutely no shame, as she should.

Listen to your favorite music now on RADIO.COM.

Sharing a video of herself, 20 minutes after she woke up, sans make-up or even smoothly brushed hair, Cardi claimed she couldn’t be happier to embrace the low-key look. "When they see me doing good they try everything they can to bring me down. Talk about my face or talk about my marriage.... On the wake up, no filter, hair unbrushed IDGAF. I feel great ! And I never been afraid of showing my real self," Cardi wrote on Twitter.

And that’s on PERIODT! we couldn’t spot one false comment or eyelash in the whole vid. "This is me without no makeup. No filter. You can see all the little blemishes on my face. S*** you can see my lips all chapped. I've been biting it all night. I just woke up 20 minutes ago. Didn't even brush my hair. Like I feel good!”

On Instagram, along with the same video, Cardi pressed her point even more, writing in her caption that despite what other may say, do or think she’s ”confident in my own skin.”

Cardi went on to voice her frustration with this particular haters who try to bring her confidence down to no success "every single time a b**** is feeling good." She said, "That don't work with me anymore.”

"I just want to let y'all know that I feel comfortable in my skin, that I'm great, that I'm happy. My record is doing great and just because you got so much hatred in your heart when I do great, y'all want to put it down, you can't," Cardi continued. "Ima stay on top with this face, with this natural face, makeup or not, a bitch is doing good.”

Just last month Cardi turned to Twitter for some skincare advise after sharing a a photo of her "uncomfortable" acne battle which had been occurring for the past three months. And before you try and come for her with hypocrisy claims, nobody likes pimples. You can be confident and own her natural beauty, and still want to improve your skin.

"I need ya help tho...." Cardi began in a series of posts on Twitter shared at the end of January. "I been breaking out lately and my face is extremely dry. I don't think these products are working. I think it's the water out here .....What are some good products for little black heads, break outs and dry skin on your face ?”

Fan advice and recommendations started flowing, of skincare favorites like Cetaphil, CeraVe, and Clinique products. However, Cardi said that she'd tried them all, and they weren't right for her.

For those confused as to why the "Up" rapper took to Twitter instead of sourcing out a dermatologist, well as she explained, she actually had and after being recommended to try retinol, it made her face "burn" and dry out even more. After fans pointed out that retinol has a "purging phase," Cardi said she "don't got time for my face to do that.”

In the end, Kehlani  came to the rescue, recommending New York-based esthetician Sean Garrette "Ok @Kehlani recommended me somebody for my face ...Imma give ya a update in 2 weeks .....I'm off this for a while ...LOVE YA.” Well, Kehlani’s skin be glowing, so we’d definitely take her advise and recommendations.

Update: It’s been a little over 2 weeks, and no official skin update has been shared, except for the IDGAF vid we started off telling you about. But skincare is a journey and we have high hopes. As were now fully invested, we’re looking forward to any further updates and share with you accordingly.
