Audacy got a chance to check out Machine Gun Kelly’s Tickets To My Downfall Tour on Tuesday night (Sept. 14) at NYC’s Rooftop at Pier 17, and honestly, the show was so incredible we just had to tell you all about it.
Fun Fact: From the stage, MGK asked how everyone working the concert was doing and told security to let people working at the front of the barrier to stay a little longer -- because we were all there to have a good time. How sweet is he? Anyway, take a look at some of our pics and videos from the show below.
Machine Gun Kelly slowly rose from the stage to smoke and screams from fans who had been waiting hours at the venue for the show to start.
The crowd went crazy for “Kiss Kiss” -- singing every word back to MGK -- and the energy got even higher as the concert took off...
'concert for aliens'
Fans went crazy for "concert for aliens" and you can feel the energy on the rooftop as Kelly came down to stage level after his grand entrance.
'My favorite New Yorker,' Pete Davidson
Comedian and SNL cast member Pete Davidson crashed the concert to surprise fans and hang out with MGK on stage for a bit! Staten Island in the house!
'my ex's best friend'
It’s true, we swear to god, we never fall in love unless it’s with Machine Gun Kelly as he sings "my ex's best friend."
It got emotional in there as Machine Gun Kelly played the track he penned for his late father, "lonely." You could feel the love on that rooftop during this song.
'Forget Me Too' ... Take 2!
After starting “Forget Me Too,” Kelly quickly stopped the song to re-start and explained to his band, “Watch what they f***ing do tonight, don’t you f***ing do that, do it better, do it good, do it loud, and you do it hard, you’re at a motherf***ing Machine Gun Kelly concert!”
Making dreams come true...
One of the best parts of the night was when MGK saw a fan’s sign asking to sing "hangover cure" with him -- and he made her dream come true! He pulled her out of the crowd to sing the entire song and she absolutely killed it!
