HOME SCHOOLED: Fitz From Fitz and The Tantrums Finds the Positive Part of Staying In

‘Lean into the light’

Fitz from Fitz and The Tantrums is currently at home, practicing “social distancing” and finding the bright side of this crisis with his family. In today’s edition of “Home Schooled,” in which artists share some tips from inside their own home, Fitz wants to focus on how coronavirus concerns have actually brought everyone together.

“It’s really turned out to be an amazing experience for us, to really spend some quality time with our family, in a way that before coronavirus, we really weren’t doing,” he admits in the exclusive video above.

Fitz and the family have been involved in all times of activities – doing yoga, picking out recipes – anything to keep them occupied. “How do you even attempt taking care of these little rascals for 24 hours a day?” he questions. The answer is in doing it as a family.

“There’s a lot of positivity out there to pull from this,” Fitz continues. “We should lean into the light, and into the good things that are coming from all this.”

Fitz and The Tantrums released their 4th studio album, All The Feels, in September. The band is set for several festival shows this summer. As for now, Fitz just wants us all to follow the advice of experts, to stay at home and stay healthy.

“I hope everyone is practicing social distancing, and being really mindful to not spread this virus, to keep our whole population healthy and safe.”
