35-year-old actress, Megan Fox recently disclosed that it was her getting to toss around her beau, 31-year-old rapper and musician Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker), while on the set of their film Midnight in the Switchgrass that lead to love back in March of 2020.
"It was just two people who were primed and supposed to be together," Fox tells USA Today. "We were meant to meet each other."
Now a year later and deeply in love, fans of the power couple can now watch the flick that set their hearts ablaze, in theaters and streaming now. Although the movie has been crushed by a 13% positive review rating on Rotten Tomatoes, we doubt that will matter. These two have been in our thoughts for so long now, they could be reciting poetry about cats and we’d gladly glue our eyes.
"He's a lot bigger than me," says 5’, 6” Fox. "He's like seven feet tall and I'm tiny, so this is not something that's going to happen in real life. But it went OK. We didn't know each other yet, so it was just like two actors doing a fight scene, but with a little added sparkle."
"It was more of the quiet moments between the scenes where all the magic was happening," Fox continued. "But the first day I felt crazy. That energy was really overwhelming and super chaotic. I was having all these feelings and I wasn't sure what they were, I just knew something intense was happening."
After day two of filming, Fox says she invited Kelly into her trailer, "to actually talk to him, to get to know him more." And get to know each other they eventually did. After filming was shut down due to COVID restrictions, the pair’s courtship commenced and the rest is now PDA history. "That's just something we were living in, so much has happened since," Fox says. "The question of, 'Did we have chemistry onscreen?' isn't necessary, because chemistry has gotten us this far."
In case you missed it, MGK is one of those rare individuals whose dreams really do come true. In a recent interview, the “Bloody Valentine” singer revealed that while in High School, he apparently had a poster of his current bae, hanging in his bedroom.
