The former (and maybe soon to be future) Fleetwood Mac guitarist just had one of those days he’ll remember for the rest of his life.

Let’s start with the music. Buckingham just dropped a brand new single called “I Don’t Mind” that easily could have been a B-Side Fleetwood Mac track. Buckingham not only shared a new song, but revealed it was a part of an upcoming solo album he’s releasing.

“My new self-titled album is one I’ve been intending to get out for a couple of years now, but on more than one occasion, unforeseen circumstances necessitated a postponement of plans,” the guitarist wrote in a tweet. “Now that we’re back in gear, I’m thrilled to finally be sharing new music with my listeners!”

Lindsey Buckingham marks his seventh studio album and is set to be released on September 17.

Now, onto the personal matters. Buckingham’s wife of over 20 years, Kristen Messner, has filed divorce documents in Los Angeles County, TMZ reports. The couple married back in 2000 after meeting in the late ‘90s and share three children together.

TMZ indicates that the couple has not discussed details of their divorce. Depending on how long the process takes, there may not be any child custody issues as their daughter Stella, 17, is the only one of their children under 18.
