On May 10, 2022, the Bob Dylan Center will be opening their doors for the very first time in Tulsa, Oklahoma as fans will be able to see over 100,000 exclusive artifacts from the iconic songwriter.

The museum will feature handwritten lyric manuscripts, previously unreleased recordings and film performances, rare photographs, visual art, and other items from Dylan’s 60-year career. The three-story building will serve as the primary public venue for his archive and features permanent, temporary, and traveling exhibitions.

Dylan’s archives were acquired by the George Kaiser Family Foundation and the University of Tulsa in 2016 for an estimated $15-$20 million. Since the sale in 2016, the archives have undergone a digitalization and have been catalogued. With that work complete, the museum is now ready to share its works with the public.

You can find out more information about the museum and get information about purchasing tickets on their website.
