Luke Combs and Nicole Hocking have revealed that their weekend was a little busier than anyone expect. The couple shared shots Sunday morning of their waterside wedding, opting to exchange vows at an intimate ceremony and wait until "next year" to celebrate with family and friends.
"Yesterday was the best day of my life," Combs captioned. "I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever."
Hocking and Combs got engaged in November of 2018, and started dating in 2016. Luke shared earlier this year that despite the coronavirus pandemic, the wedding was still in the works for 2020. "Things are still on track as of right now," he told ET Canada, adding, "that's all I know as far as that stuff goes, we're still planning on doing it, we're still picking out napkins and stuff like that.”
This ceremony looked a little different, but it was still perfect for the pair.
"Yesterday was the most special day!! I’m so happy to spend the rest of my life with you!" the new Mrs. Combs captioned her post with the picture. "Although we wish would could have had every single one of our family & friends there, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next year!"
The couple teased that they would share more from the day soon, but for now, congratulations to Luke and Nicole.
