Man Seals Record Deal After Charity Sing-Off With Rascal Flatts' Gary Levox

'I can't even believe this is happening'

Putting yourself, and your passion on the line is never an easy task. The anxieties of acceptance and the fear of failure can get the best of even the most highly trained.

When singer Jeremy Greene from Maine challenged Rascal FlattsGary Levox to a sing-off during the COV-AID charity event on May 5th to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club, everything was on the line.

Luckily, Levox accepted his challenge and ended up being so impressed with Greene’s performance of "Bless the Broken Road" that he signed him to his new label.

The experience for Greene has been a dream come true and he says this opportunity he's been given will not be wasted.

“People from New England have been very, very supportive, my family, my friends,” he told local Portland station WGME TV. “It's just been incredible, I can't even believe this is happening. I mean he's a legend, I mean Rascal Flatts is a country music legend, and to have this opportunity, is like, certainly not going to waste it I’ll tell you that,” Greene said.

Rascal Flatts are currently under quarantine, just like you are. So if you think you have what it takes — it looks like challenging the band could work out well for you. Good luck!
