Miranda Lambert and Elle King 'Drunk' to open 2021 ACM Awards

The Academy of Country Music has revealed Miranda Lambert and Elle King will open up the 56th Annual ACM Awards on Sunday night with a performance of their song, “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home).” The performance is only the beginning of top-notch entertainment for the night, with several other artists set to take the stage.

The show, hosted by Keith Urban and Mickey Guyton will take place April 18 and be broadcast from various Nashville music venues including The Bluebird Cafe, Ryman Auditorium, Grand Ole Opry, Station Inn, Bridge Building and Broadway. Fans can catch the fun on the CBS Television Network or stream the event live and on demand via Paramount+.

Also taking the stage as collaborators that night will be Dierks Bentley with husband and wife duo The War and Treaty,  Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd, Chris Young and Kane Brown, Carrie Underwood and Gospel singer CeCe Winans, Carly Pearce and Lee Brice, Kelsea Ballerini with Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall.

Set to perform solo performances are Lady A, Jimmie Allen, Gabby Barrett, Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde, Keith Urban, Brothers Osborne, Kenny ChesneyEric ChurchLuke CombsDan + ShayMickey GuytonAlan Jackson, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood and Blake Shelton, who is celebrating 20 years since his first single, “Austin.”
