Miranda Lambert has a backstage 'puppy palace' at her shows and we’ve never been more jealous

'It was my favorite thing'

Country artist Miranda Lambert has been known to save a dog (or six) here and there. Through her MuttNation Foundation, which she founded alongside her mom, Lambert is always looking for ways to support shelters, from collecting donations at shows, creating awareness among fans and snuggling puppies backstage!

Thats right — In a recent interview with Audacy’s Katie Neal, Miranda shared details about her favorite place to be backstage and it involves a lot of puppy breath!

“We started a thing on the last tour… 'The Puppy Palace,'" Miranda told Katie. “We would have a dressing room where the shelters would bring us puppies to play with to boost morale. It was my favorite thing.”

While Miranda originally thought of the idea to boost morale and help socialize the puppies in an effort to increase their chances of being adopted, it turns out she helped some of her crew members find new family members! Can you blame them?!
