MyMusicRx-clusive: Keith Urban Answers Sasha’s Question

Delivering the healing power of music with the Children’s Cancer Association

RADIO.COM has teamed up with the Children’s Cancer Association and MyMusicRX, to bring questions from kids facing cancer or other serious illnesses directly to their favorite artists. Music’s biggest stars like Luke Combs, Kelsea Ballerini, Garth Brooks, and more each took time to answer these amazing young people, and we’re proud to share it with you.

Via video, we connect them for an exclusive personal response. It all happens with the help of MyMusicRX, who for over 24 years has provided one-on-one music experiences just like this to relieve some of the stress and anxiety of being in the hospital.

Sasha may look adorable, but she asks really tough questions. For Keith Urban, she wanted to know, “what’s your favorite microphone?”

We would have never thought to ask that, but thankfully Sasha is here to help us get some real answers from Urban.

“Hi Sasha, that’s such a sweet question,” Keith responds with a smile. “Did you say what is my favorite microphone? That is amazing.”

Looking at the one he’s holding, Urban ponders the question. “This is a pretty good one. This one right here.”

“We’re gonna get technical since you’re asking a technical question Sasha,” he continues. “I like a Neumann U47, is what it’s called. I also like a Neumann U67, they’re both good microphones that I use in the studio.”

“It’s a deep, profound question and hopefully the answers have satisfied you.”
