Adidas and Pixar release 'Toy Story' shoe collection

Children will soon be able to blast off in new “Toy Story”-inspired shoes.

It has been 25 years since “Toy Story” was shown in theaters, and now fans can enjoy a new collection.

Good Morning America announced that Pixar and Adidas have teamed up to create a “Toy Story” Friendship collection featuring sneakers and apparel, which is expected to release on October 1.

“Now more than ever, this collaboration represents the importance of bringing people together on the court, in the classroom, on the playground and in the world,” the brand wrote in a statement. It’s a reminder that we all have friends to lean on, just like Andy had Woody, Buzz, and the whole “Toy Story” gang.

While many adults may love to purchase the new shoes, the collection is specifically for only children and infants, with prices beginning at $22.

The whole collection consists of seven sneakers that highlight and celebrate the famous Pixar movie.

The Dame 7 x Buxx sneaker has white, purple, and green on the upper part of the shoe and Buzz Lightyear glow-in-the-dark elements featured throughout the sneaker.

Another option, the D.O.N. Issue #2 x Wood, has blue denim and print details highlighting Sheriff Woody’s classic character. Andy’s name is also on the right outsole.
