Alyssa Milano Says Coronavirus Is Making Her Lose Her Hair: 'Please Take This Seriously'

Alyssa Milano announced on Twitter that she is losing hair after testing positive for COVID-19 antibodies.

The “Who’s The Boss” star shared a shocking video on her official Twitter page.

She captioned the post, “Thought I’d show you what #Covid19 does to your hair,” Milano tweeted along with the video. “Please take this seriously.”

In the video, she shows her clean detangling brush before brushing her hair that appears to be wet. “I just wanted to show you the amount of hair that is coming out of my head as a result of Covid,” Milano said in the video.

Milano held up a large clump of her hair in front of the camera. She urged people to wear face masks as she talked about her hair loss from COVID-19.

Last week, the actress revealed she tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies.

The “Charmed” alum shared her results on Instagram, explaining that while she had “basically every COVID symptom” in March, she continuously tested negative for the virus.

"This was me on April 2nd after being sick for 2 weeks. I had never been this kind of sick,” she began alongside a photo of herself wearing a breathing machine.

"Everything hurt. Loss of smell. It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t keep food in me. I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. I was confused. Low grade fever. And the headaches were horrible," she continued.

While all of her symptoms indicated that she contracted coronavirus, Milano tested negative twice in a row. She even got a negative results on the antibody test at the time.
