Amanda Bynes is "doing great" and enjoying a quiet life ahead of her 35th birthday on April 3.
On Thursday, a lawyer for the “What a Girl Wants” actress, David A. Esquibias said the star “lives by the beach” and is “looking forward to celebrating her 35th birthday with family and friends,” Fox News reported.
Esquibias continued saying Bynes “really enjoys meditation and Soul Cycling.”
The former actress is reportedly “living independently” and is back “attending school.”
Bynes received her bachelor’s degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), and told fans she was working on her clothing line.
She posted to a now-inactive Instagram account in May 2020, saying "Taking online classes, trying to get a 4.0 GPA :] ?Looking forward to starting my online store in the future #goals," ET reported.
"She’s exploring what options remain open to her while she continues her degree at FIDM," said Esquibias. "Clothes, perfumes, she’s going to investigate those areas further."
Other career developments for the former Nickelodeon star include a newly released hip-hop record titled "Diamonds."
The star made headlines early last year after announcing her engagement to a man named Paul Michael. The couple split three weeks later.
In March of 2020, Attorney Esquibias told the Fox News that Bynes was receiving mental health treatment.
"Any reports that Amanda is suffering from drug or alcohol addiction issues are completely false. She is seeking treatment for ongoing mental health issues," attorney Esquibias said.
He added, "We ask for privacy during this time, and for any speculation about her personal life from the public and the media to cease so Amanda can focus on getting better."
