Catherine Zeta-Jones is opening up about her experience with the coronavirus lockdown, and it turns out, she got more than one bundle of joy while we were all stuck at home.
She continued on to outline how they kept themselves busy, adding, "They wanted to protect us as parents, Michael as well, who is a little older than me... We played lots of games."
The family is currently wrapped up in their new addition - the newborn son of her stepson Cameron. "His name is Ryder Douglas. He came out kicking. When the news isn't necessarily uplifting in any sense, to have a newborn baby was just a joy, a real joy," she said.
But the baby isn't the only new addition to the family. Turns out, Zeta-Jones has a furbaby to be excited about as well. "And I got a puppy, which was just as equally joyous for me," she said.
"My third child was born," she said in jest. "It's the TLC of life: puppies and babies."
Recently, Zeta-Jones has been working on her role in the newest season of "Prodigal Son," in which she plays Dr. Vivian Capshaw, the resident M.D. at a psychiatric institute in the show.
"It is great to get back to work," she said. "There's a past with these two doctors in the bowels of the Claremont Psychiatric Facility. Things start to unravel. It's fun."
