Chrissy Teigen hospitalized after suffering bleeding during pregnancy

Chrissy Teigen shared an emergency update with her fans about her pregnancy.

The 34-year-old mother revealed on social media that she suffered bleeding for the past month during her pregnancy.

Teigen, expecting her third child, a boy, shared several posts to her Instagram story where she was seen in bed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

“We all know I’ve been on bed rest for a few weeks and that’s like super serious bed rest,” Teigen said. “I get up to quickly pee and that’s it, I take baths twice a week, no showering, just as little as possible.”

“But I was always, always bleeding,” she continued. “I’m about halfway through pregnancy and the blood has been going on for about a month, maybe a little bit less than a month. We’re talking like more than your period girls, it’s definitely not spotting. A lot of people spot but it’s usually fine. Mine was a lot.”

She said that her baby is doing well, but “in the simplest of terms we can say my placenta is really, really weak.”

Teigen is known for sharing her recipes and shares two children Luna, 4, and Miles, 2, with husband John Legend.

By updating fans about her soon-to-be child, she shared that the baby is super healthy and is growing stronger than Luna or Miles. She explained how the baby moves so much and that she is excited for him.

With the scary news, the star continues to rest as much as possible.

She eventually urged her fans, even those who are health officials, not to diagnose her over social media.

“If you are a doctor I can not express enough how badly I would like you to stop your guessing games or even diagnosing me via Twitter,” Teigen said. “I have very good doctors who know the entire story. I share a lot but not absolutely everything.”
