Not Lovin' It: Chrissy Teigen Puzzled By Pic of Her With Ousted McDonald's CEO

Chrissy Teigen’s been roped into the McDonald’s CEO scandal and she is not lovin’ it.

Teigen had the camera turned on her for a change when a publication used a photo including her in a story about the ousting of McDonald’s CEO Steve Easterbrook.

The model and TV star posted a screenshot of a Daily Mail story that featured a photo of her with the former CEO on her Twitter and Instagram accounts Sunday night.

“Whoa whoa whoa why am I in this headline photo lmao,” Teigen wrote.

In addition to a photo of her with the CEO, Daily Mail also used a shot of Easterbrook with McDonald’s mascot Ronald McDonald, a detail not lost on Twitter users.

“This makes it look like Ronald McDonald is his husband and Chrissy Teigen is the mistress,” one user joked.

The zingers practically wrote themselves on Teigen’s Instagram post of the screenshot.

“Press conference 9am,” she captioned the photo, before also commenting “why me.”

Easterbrook was fired from McDonald’s for his romantic involvement with an employee.

A Sunday statement from the fast food chain announced that the chief executive officer had “separated from the company” after demonstrating “poor judgment in having a relationship with an employee."

Easterbrook apologized to employees in an email statement.

"As for my departure, I engaged in a recent consensual relationship with an employee, which violated McDonald’s policy. This was a mistake,” Easterbrook said.

"Given the values of the Company, I agree with the Board that it is time for me to move on. Beyond this, I hope you can respect my desire to maintain my privacy," he added.
