Chrissy Teigen did what she does best and took to Twitter with her latest explanation of things. This time, she's revealing how she found out that she was pregnant with her third child.
Teigen, who underwent breast reduction surgery in June, sparked inquiries from fans who estimated that she must have been pregnant before the surgery, leaving them confused as to why she would go through with it at all.
Teigen chimed in with the answers.
"I did the routine pregnancy test you do before surgery. It said negative. It was not negative," Teigen explains. "A few weeks after surgery, I took a test. And for many years now, I've taken pregnancy tests almost every month, praying to see a positive one day."
She went on to say that she often believed that she wasn't even able to get pregnant naturally without the help of fertility intervention, having had Miles and Luna through IVF. "Just wishful thinking. I never had a positive before," she says.
"So the morning of John's album release, he wakes up at 3am to do Good Morning America. I woke up with him and was like man, should take my monthly test to be disappointed..." Teigen writes.
"...I was not disappointed," she continues.
But the shocking pregnancy ended up being the truth, which she and husband John Legend announced in his latest music video for "Wild."
One of the most shocking elements, Teigen admitted in her Twitter thread, was that she and Legend ended up being one of the many people in the world having "corona babies." "Couldn't be us!!" she teases.
Teigen then replied to a user asking if her other two children were excited about the baby-to-be. "Luna is very, very excited. Miles, not so much. Jealous!" Teigen explains.
