Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Rips Off Front Gate With His Bare Hands

The Rock wrestled with his front gate and won.

When a power outage threatened to slow him down, Dwayne Johnson took matters into his own hands.

The 48-year-old shared an image of his front gate ripped off its hinges outside his home and disclosed how he tore it down using his own brute strength.

"Not my finest hour, but a man’s gotta go to work," Johnson captioned the post. "We experienced a power outage due to severe storms, causing my front gate not to open. I tried to override the hydraulic system to open the gates, which usually works when power goes out - but this time it wouldn’t."

When the “Jumanji” star called technicians and was told it would take 45 minutes for anyone to get out to his home, he knew he would be late to the set of his latest film.

"By this time, I know I have hundreds of production crew members waiting for me to come to work so we can start our day," he added. "So I did what I had to do."

This is when the action hero, who previously disclosed he and his family recently recovered from COVID-19, kicked into action.

“I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself. Tore it out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass,” Johnson wrote. “My security team was able to meet the gate technician and welders about an hour later — and they were apparently, ‘in disbelief and equally scared.’”

He finished by adding, “Not my finest hour, but I had to go to work.”

The post got the attention of Johnson’s good pal Ryan Reynolds, who took the opportunity to troll him.

“The gate opened the OTHER way,” the “Deadpool” star commented.

In a second post, Johnson showed how it took 3 technicians to move the gate in order to repair it.

“Maybe next time I’ll just hop the gates and call an Uber,” Johnson wrote, before joking, “Actually, no I won’t. There’s no fun in that.”
