Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Shows Kevin Hart Love After Horrific Crash

Kevin Hart is receiving some serious love following injuries sustained in an auto accident over the weekend.

After a horrific car crash that left him in the hospital, the comedian received support from his friend, former wrestler and action star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

In an Instagram post dedicated to Hart, Johnson wrote, “Stop messing with my emotions brother @kevinhart4real.”

The caption to the photo, a fun snapshot of the two on camelback from their upcoming film “Jumanji: The Next Level,” went on: “We have a lot more laughing to do together. Love you man. Stay strong.”

The stars have been bros since sharing the spotlight in their buddy action flick, 2016’s “Central Intelligence.” They went on to work together again in their 2017 Jumanji reboot “Welcome to the Jungle.” Hart also made a brief appearance in Johnson’s August action film, “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.”

Hart successfully underwent back surgery on Sunday evening.

On Monday, the actor’s wife Eniko Hart told TMZ that her husband was awake and recovering.

He’s “going to be just fine,” she said.

He is expected to stay in the hospital for a couple more days while he recovers, according to sources.

Since news of his crash, Hart has received a public outpouring of love and support from other stars as well.

“I’ve just heard that @kevinhart4real was injured today in a car accident in Los Angeles,” wrote Bryan Cranston in an Instagram caption of a photo he posted of him with his “The Upside” co-star. The caption went on: “Let’s all send him positive energy and healing thoughts. He’s a good human. Get well soon, brother.”

Terry Crews tweeted words of support to Hart as well, writing, “Get well soon, brother.”

Reverend Al Sharpton showed love as well, tweeting a picture of the two with the caption, “Sending my prayers up for Kevin Hart who was recently in a car accident.”

On Monday, Hart was even visited in the hospital by his friend, NBA star Chris Paul, according to TMZ.

The crash occurred, which occurred early Saturday morning on Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, when a driver identified as Jared Black was driving and lost control of the vehicle, Hart’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda.

Both Black and Hart suffered “major back injuries,” according to a report by California Highway Patrol.

The men were joined by passenger Rebecca Broxterman, who walked away with “minor” injuries, according to the report.
