The Reel Buzz: Everything coming to Amazon Prime Video in August

Amazon Prime Video is keeping it simple this August as it focuses on quality over quantity.

A handful of prime titles are making their way onto the streaming service, including original movies and the return of a popular  anthology series.

Season 2 of “Modern Love” will premiere on August 13. The star-studded cast includes Kit Harington, Minnie Driver, Dominique Fishback and Tobias Menzies, Anna Paquin and Sophie Okonedo and is based on New York Times essays.

“Val,” a documentary following the life and career of Val Kilmer taken largely from his home videos, drops on August 6.

Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard star in “Annette,” a musical love story that premieres on August 21, while Benedict Cumberbatch and Rachel Borsnahan join forces in “The Courier,” a Cold War spy thriller, dropping on August 27.

And don’t miss beloved classics including the "Jaws" and "Predator" franchise's.
