Here to chat with you about all things queer is Gigi Gorgeous and Marc Lamentac, also known as Mimi. They're bringing you the LGBTQ+ issues you care about.
Ramble, a division of Audacy's Cadence13, announced the show, "Queerified," earlier in June and now, the show has come to life on the Audacy app.
Gigi, a transgender activist, author, and television personality, will chat with Mimi, her longtime best friend, and a slew of special guests in the LGBTQ+ community to uncover the truths behind growing up queer, the successes of life, and how to celebrate queer joy on the daily.
Gigi's career begain to take off in 2008 when, as a Toronto high school student, she created a YouTube channel featuring content surrounding beauty, fashion, and makeup tutorials.
Born Gregory Lazzarato, Gigi chronicled her transition on her YouTube channel in 2014, laying the groundwork for her award-winning, feature-length documentary, "This Is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous."
Recently, Gigi released her candid memoir, "HE SAID, SHE SAID: Lessons, Stories, and Mistakes from My Transgender Journey."
“On ‘Queerified’, I wanted to start a conversation that is empowering, entertaining, and humorous, having an open dialogue about the issues and experiences that made me the person I am today,” said Gigi Gorgeous. “My best friend Marc Lamentac, or Mimi, and I invite listeners around the world to join us every week, and we are thrilled to partner with Ramble to bring this dream show to life!”
“Gigi has a larger-than-life personality, and an equally powerful voice as an activist,” said Chris Corcoran, Chief Content Officer, Cadence13 and Ramble. “As Pride is celebrated around the world, we’re excited to welcome Gigi and Mimi to the Ramble and Cadence13 family.”
