In a plea to social media trolls, a bikini-clad Halle Berry posed next to her boyfriend Van Hunt in her latest post with a message to the haters as the caption.
In the photo, Berry sports a white t-shirt paired with green and pink bikini bottoms and heart-shaped shades. She's seen snuggled up next to boyfriend Hunt, who's wearing a grey hoodie and green bottoms.
"We do this thing called whatever the f--- we want," she wrote as the caption.
The post comes on the heels of her candid interview with Essence, in which she explains her qualms with social media and the negativity that comes with having a public page.
"The thing I hate, and this will never stop, I know, because it's the nature of the world, but I really hate the negativity that gets on there. I just really want to like, slap these trolls because it really is damaging people," she said.
"It's damaging to young people and I really wish that if you really didn't have something [nice] to say, don't say it. If you've got something so negative to say about somebody, why are you on their page?" she continued.
Berry is mother to Maceo, 7, and Nahla, 13. She's upset now more than ever as her daughter enters into the social media world.
"I see that with my daughter and it infuriates me," she explained. "That's one of the reasons I've kept them out of the media, to protect them, for this very reason."
As hurtful as internet trolls can be, Berry remains unapologetic in what she shares with the world. Just last week, Berry posed in a fitted leopard print leotard paired with a pair of matching thigh-high boots.
"Hitting all the right spots," she said in the caption.
